Accessories & extensions for measuring heads

With an IPC connection cable, an EPC1 controller (the controller without its own display, which is often installed in switch cabinets) can be connected to an EPC2 display unit. This way, the EPC2 display unit can be installed remotely from the actual controller (e.g. in a control room) and allows the operator to control the system from a greater distance. A standard IPC connection cable is compatible with all lune CHF EPC1 and EPC2 controllers and has a length of up to 100 m.

The ICC connection cable is needed to connect the lune CHF measurement head to a lune CHF controller. The standard cable is compatible with all lune CHF measurement heads and all lune CHF controllers of type CHE8000 and EPC1. It is available in various lengths, however the maximum length is 30 m.

The Wiretemp LC measurement head is especially well suited for use in wire and cable production. Precise non-contact temperature measurement is possible at line speeds up to 1500 m/min. For higher line speeds the Wiretemp LC measurement head can be equipped with a special range extender. This allows precise measurement results even in production lines with line speeds up to 2000 m/min.

With our Cleaning-Kit, every lune CHF measurement head can be cleaned from impurities without damaging the sensitive sensor. By cleaning the measuring head regularly, an optimal measuring result can be guaranteed even when used constantly in industrial measuring environments. The scope of delivery includes special brushes with different diameters, an ESD brush and a compressed air can.

The FLATTEMP measurement head is normally used on plain and flat surfaces. Some customers have the requirement to determine the temperature of round obstacles with larger diameter, such as rolls and tubes. Our MULTITEMP measurement head covers larger diameter till 100mm (3,94 inch). In case an even larger diameter is required, it is possible to use our FLATTEMP measurement head. In combination with special adaptor- respectively spacer blocks the FLT can be used on basically any diameter. The spacer blocks ensure that the gap between round obstacle and sensor is constant to prevent turbulences. Please also check our application note on measuring large diameter.  

With the RCC cable and the included software it is possible to connect a lune CHF controller to a standard PC (Windows 10, 64 bit). The included remote software allows the controller to be remotely operated from the PC. The RCC cable has a USB to IPC interface and is available in lengths of 1.8 m and 5.0 m. The compatibility with all lune CHF controllers is guaranteed.

The XY pedestal makes it easy to integrate the measurement head into a production line. Particularly helpful is the micrometre-accurate XY adjustment to precisely position the measurement head horizontally and vertically. Our XY pedestal covers line heights from 200mm to 1000mm in the standard configuration. Heights of up to 2.0 meter are possible upon request. The XY pedestal can be used with all lune CHF gauge heads.
