Wiretemp LC – proven quality

Our measurement heads of the "Wiretemp LC" series allow precise, non-contact temperature measurement on wire, cable, metallic conductors, optical fibers, etc.

Independent of the material (all metals and all non-metallic materials) and independent of the surface finish (high gloss, matt, coated etc.).

WTLC measurement heads combine highest performance and easiest handling. This combination makes the Wiretemp LC the world's bestselling lune measurement head.

The slotted head design makes the integration into a product line very easy. Changing the wire or conductor is possible without any problems.

Four built-in lune heatflow sensors guarantee high precision in non-contact temperature measurement and perfect control of the conductor preheating. Temperature deviations are detected and communicated to the process control within milliseconds. No calibration of the sensor is required. The head works reliably and wear-free in any production line - Plug & Play.

Line speeds up to 1500 m/min (4921 ft/min) are covered as standard.

Should it be even faster? With the aid of our optionally available Range Extender (to calm the airflow at high line speeds) the WTLC measures with the usual precision even at 2200 m/min (7217 ft./min).

The WTLC is available in four versions for different wire diameters:

• WTLC-0200-1900 (0.2 mm - 1.9 mm / 0.0079” - 0.0748”)
• WTLC-1500-3500 (1,5 mm - 3,5 mm / 0.0591” - 0.1378”)
• WTLC-3000-5000 (3,0 mm - 5,0 mm / 0.1181” - 0.1969”)
• WTLC-4500-7000 (4,5 mm - 7,0 mm / 0.1772” - 0.2756”)

You are welcome to use our optional XY-stand to install the measurement head in your production line.
